Client reviews and testimonials

One year ago, we called Brad (Benchmark Kitchens) to ask him for a recommendation for someone to renovate our bathroom.  The reason we thought of him was   years prior he had renovated our kitchen and we were very pleased with how the project turned out.  It was an excellent experience from start to finish – beginning with our initial visit when he came to see the space, measure, and listen to our ideas and what we envisioned and the budget we had in mind.  The entire project ran smoothly – throughout it Brad and his crew were considerate, reliable and consistent.  It is a marvel how Brad was able to take the given space and an old kitchen and transform it into a modern excellent looking kitchen.  The quality of the workmanship was A1, and there was meticulous attention to detail and precision and no compromising.  The project was completed on time, within budget aNd functions superbly.

So when Brad told us that he renovated “bathrooms” as well we were very happy and had him do the project.  He had a given structure, space and a 30 year old bathroom to work with.  We again had a positive experience from beginning to completion.  Brad was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient in recommending and helping with the selection of tiles, tub, shower, fixtures, faucets, etc. etc.  The bathroom was completed within the estimated time frame – despite winter weather, snow and ice in Vermont and the fact that we live on a mountain.  We love how the bathroom turned out – it is really beautiful and a work or art!

It was a pleasure to deal with Brad and his crew.

We are now considering renovating another bathroom and, or course, Brad will be doing the project.

Brad was recommended to me by a neighbor after I mentioned wanting to replace our kitchen cabinets. When he came to the house to meet with us, we were impressed with his willingness to listen to our ideas and accommodate our desire to preserve our existing countertop, which was still in great condition. Brad drew up attractive plans for our new cabinets and lighting and presented us with several choices of cabinet doors that he thought would work well with our countertop. As someone who gets overwhelmed by too many choices, I found this very helpful, and my husband and I picked some beautiful maple cabinets that look wonderful with our counter. We made some changes to Brad’s design layout, and he readily accepted all of our requests, never trying to talk us into something we didn’t want. Similarly with new flooring, he agreed with us that vinyl tiles would work best in our kitchen and offered a selection of tiles he felt would compliment our cabinets and counter. Brad’s schedule fit perfectly with our plans to travel for 5 weeks, and he and his team were able to finish our renovation in that short amount of time. We came home to a beautiful new kitchen ready to be used from day one. The tiny details that needed attention were taken care of immediately. In addition Brad took on the task of repairing a leaking powder room toilet and rotten flooring in our absence. The project came in very close to Brad’s initial estimate, and we couldn’t be happier with the results or with Brad’s professional and friendly manner throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Benchmark enthusiastically to others.
